Getting started
How do I get started with Mini Till?
Open the till, then:
- Go to the Products tab and add each product with a name, price and optional category.
- Back on the Till tab, tap products to build the sale.
- Press Review order, check it over, then Take payment.
- Choose card, cash or split, and Complete sale.
Everything is saved automatically in your browser, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off.

Your data
Where is my data stored?
Products, sales history and settings are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. That means:
- Your data never leaves your device
- There's no server upload, no cloud copy, no account
- Only the optional stock system sends anything anywhere, and only if you sign in to it
The flip side: clearing your browser data deletes everything, so use the one-click backup on the till's Products tab now and then — it saves the lot (products, sales and settings) to a file you can restore on any device.

Reports and exports
Can I track my daily sales?
Yes. The Today's sales panel under the till shows:
- Total revenue and number of transactions
- Average sale value and items sold
- The card, cash and split breakdown — handy when cashing up
The sales history below it lists every completed sale with a timestamp.

Is Mini Till right for my business?
Who is it a good fit for?
Mini Till suits counters with straightforward sales:
- Market stalls and pop-up shops
- Coffee and food vans
- Small cafés
- Craft fairs and artisan markets
- Village halls, clubs and charity shops
- Seasonal businesses and anyone just starting out
With Pro added, it stretches to small multi-location operations — a shop with a van, a caterer running several bars. If you need integrated accounting, loyalty schemes or kitchen displays, a heavier system will serve you better.
